hi there, just went to view a Job , and just wondering on what you guys/girls would charge.

Its a new extension for an ensuite, where the hot and cold feed has to be run from the ceiling kitchen straight up, they need hot and cold for a shower, bath and basin , aswell as the cold feed for the toilet, they also need a new external soil pipe , to run all 4 appliances into, and 1 x hand towel rad, working times your looking at about 2-3 days work , with the amount of adjustments ect , So .. im kind of after a mix of prices for pure labour, they will supply all materials including the rads and bathroom suite, fixings and pipework.

Thanks in advance for your replys

I dont want to run on my day rate , I want a price complete from first to 2nd fix, shower tray, screen, mixer, riserrail, w/c, basin, bath, radiator, new external soilstack, another basin, and anotger toilet, complete price ...

sounds like your wanting too much from us then, without seeing job cant really say, but i would go for a day rate to make it easier doing the estimate instead of spending hours and maybe not getting the job

Not really...........6 grand cash should cover it.

hahaha. I actually had someone ring me up a while ago and asked me to give a quote to replace his boiler in his second house up in yorkshire or somewhere like that. I am in south east london/surrey area and he expected me to be able to quote him over the phone, I tried telling him it was impossible but he wouldnt let it go so I said 5 grand and £1 per mile. I didnt get the job.

If only you'd said £4,999 and 99p a mile - would have sounded more like a Tesco price then ...

It's psychology, as I'm sure you know!!
