i have direct family living there working the oil sands and in town. they had evacuated 75 horses on monday down south. last night my family got safely evacuated with the entire population and told to 'defend for themselves'!!

tragic, my lot live in Oz and always seem to be near the bush fires, bit worrying at times

some of those flames must be 300foot high!
its even jumped accross the river and i think thats 200m wide.
