Hi

Hoping someone can save me and my dog from freezing to death tonight!

I have a Salus Wireless Temperature Controller (RT500RF).

All of a sudden my rads wont come on.

Its showing the flame on the controller but theres no heat coming through.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Thank you

I will try new batteries. The override doesnt make any difference. Apparently there is a code on the boiler showing no call for heat, whatever that means. Thank you for replying :sad::sad:

Its flashing on an off when I run a bath. The green light on the boiler. Its a Valiant ECOTECH Pro Boiler

The green light flashes when the hot water turns on. There are a set of 3 lights. Green far right, amber in the middle (consistently on) red light far left (think it should be read) but that isnt on at all.

The flame indicator on a salus only means that the sender has tried to send a signal to the reciever to turn the boiler on. It doesn't mean the reciever got the message and turned the boiler on.
take the RF unit and stand next to the reciever then turn the heating off (using the sender) then turn it on again.
Do the leds on the reciever do anything when you do this?

sounds like the receiver unit wired into the boiler has broken could be temp shorted out by an electrician

No nothing. The Green light stays on permanently. Temp showing 58 degrees. No amber no red light.

thanks

Thanks ever so much. Will get someone round tomorrow. At least Ive warmed up running up and down trying different stuff with the boiler 🙂 Thank you
