Hi, i have a Worcester 240 combi boiler. The past few days, the fan has been on CONSTANTLY. A night I have to switch the whole thing off at the wall as its right outside my bedroom and is noisy. (A low hum but now I've noticed it, it drives me mad) is this something easily fixed??

Thanks in advance

Thought so. Luckily we rent but the landlords always take ages to actually pay out for the expensive stuff! My partner wonders whether its always been the same but im pretty sure I would have noticed it. Thanks for the swift reply

Sorry Becky. We really can't give any more advice than that for your own safety. If you paid the bill would you be able to claim it back off your landlord in lieu of rent? I know some work that way.

Are you sure it's the fan & not the pump?

Low hum sounds like a pump to me? Frost protection maybe?

turn the thing off at the wall for one night and see if the 'hum' persists?

let us know 🙂
