hi anyone help pls had a leak on my boiler on the diverter block witch I've had changed but now i seem to be loosing pressure I've noticed when i fill to 1 bar turn on heating my pressure rises to over 3 bar i bleed rads to reduce pressure all works ok then randomly losses pressure again i have got staining on the wall by blow off.
 
This is a straight forward diagnosis and in most cases a straight forward repair for competent person.
Call a Gas Engineer.
 
Call back the engineer who worked on the gas boiler & get them to check it over, likely to be expansion vessel, they should have picked this up when the boiler was tested. Please stop filling it up with fresh water as you are likely to wrecking your system.
 
thanks for the reply's is the problem likely to be that the expansion tank is not pressurized correctly
 
no the block was changed by a friend of a friend who is gas safe registered i have spoke to him he is going to have a look but I wanted to know if this was a air problem that i can solve myself i am a refrigeration engineer but i do not want to cause more damage
 
hi thanks for your reply if anyone can help me after double checking the boiler and how easy to change expansion vessel i've noticed that the flexi hose is twisted and kinked possible done when diverter block was changed as fault only appeared since then but what do i have to do to be able to remove from diverter block to untwist pls help
 
You have done this your self or some one who thinks thay know what thay are doing ! should be able to sort it between the two of you.:confused5:
