Hi guys, problem with my mums boiler, thought id share it to see what you think. Couple of problems, first of all the temperature control knob for heating has snapped (common problem on these). The radiators are far too warm, scalding almost, also the hot water is very hot but when the heating is on is almost scalding as well. I have checked BP on heating and hot water and its modulating correctly. I've read that to change the temp. control knob you have change the PCB as its snapped inside the board! I've also put some de-scaler in the system about 3 weeks ago but problem still persists. Thought i maybe need to remove and clean HE and maybe change thermistors or PCB, but dont want to change things that maybe ok, thanks in advance.🙁
