hi,

i have jst bough a house which has a Worcester 24i combi fitted back in 2006. boiler had no pressure so I topped It up to about 1.5. hot water is fine but when I run the heating after about 20 mins there is a weird gush of water from the bottom which has enough pressure to knock the bottom panel off. looking up underneath the boiler there is no where that is leaking, its just the initial spurt of water, which is really odd. pressure goes down to about 0.5 I then top it back upto 1.5 and run it again but a little while later it happens again.

anyone know why this keeps happening or where its coming from?

thanks

Hi davetherave1987 and welcome to the forum, the issue you have will require you to get a Gas Safe Registered engineer to come and have a look at your boiler I'm afraid.

We cannot and will not give advice on the installation or repair of boilers, cookers or ANY gas appliances for your own safety.

Please go to Gas Safe Register | Ensure your gas engineer is registered. or post a thread in the 'I'm looking for a plumber / gas engineer' section of these forums remembering to include your location.
