Get to the bathroom and water temperature goes hot then warm then hot again up and down!..
Piping isn't lagged but that doesn't matter as the temperature raises hot and warm??

Does it stay fired the time the taps open ?
Actually never touched it as I'm just back now from there.
Was thinking that it was a thermostatic mixer and check the outlet at the hot. But turns out as bath mixer tap and temperature rise and going warm.
Tried turning the setting to number 4 and then got really hot. And again goes to warm and back up to piping hot.

as far so far as I know it doesn't cut out!!
As it's a bit late now I'll ask more questions tomorrow about the behaviour.
Yes seemed to have. But I say. I'd never actually touched the boiler . I was expecting a thermostatic mixer in the bathroom, so at that point I know it's the boiler at that point.
Yes. Pretty old I think it's 8 YO.
