Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24Ri flow and return the wrong way round?

Hi,
i have just had a Worcester Bosch accredited installer supply and fit a brand new Greenstar 24Ri boiler for me.
The thing is, I think he has got the plumbing connections wrong.
Perhaps someone could confirm please?
Looking at the boiler from the front, the return pipe, where he fitted the Magnaclean unit, is on the left.
The pipe that gets hot first (flow?) is on the right.
This seems to contradict what it says in the WB installation manual.
I am assuming that the boiler won't run efficiently as the hot outgoing water will be heating up the cooler normally condensating flue gases.
What are any other possible implications of the pipes being reversed?

So he's put the magnaclean on the flow? If the flow and return were crossed the Worcester won't work. Simple as that. Not ideal having the magna clean on the flow but can't see a major problem.

No, the magnaclean is on the return (cooler pipe)
He has connected the flow and return on the boiler back to front.
The manual says that the flow out should be on the left hand pipe, he has it on the right hand pipe.

So your boiler doesn't work? Call the installer back?

Yes, the boiler heats up the radiators and hot water but I was after a 2nd opinion before I called him back.

I called the installer back, after a small argument he could see they were wrong so corrected them!
The radiators now seem to take ages to get warm and aren't as hot as with the old boiler, anything I should look out for?

You need to get the installer back or if you have loft faith, get another one to take a look. There is no reason why the rads should not be as warm with the new boiler, often the opposite. I never leave a job until I am happy that the system is working as it should be. Did the installer not check all this?
