Worcester Highflow 440 problem or customer error?

Hi guys, went to service a highflow 440 combi the other day, weve serviced the boiler 3 years on the trot. this time round was no different but the customer said that the last couple of months its been playing up. the custard said when the heating is on and it reaches the set temperature they cant get hot water from the shower for atleast 20 minutes, but the hot water works fine at all other times. i asked if this happens at all the hot water outlets, she replied i think so (so she probably hasnt tried them). i tried all different things to make it play up for me, made it reach set temp on room stat, turned boilers stat down to see if that did anything. the whole time i couldnt get it to play up. im thinking that the boiler is fine and the shower is starting to go. all i could advise her to do was to check all hot water outlets next time it happens and let me know if it really is affecting every tap or just the shower.

i dont suppose anyone on here is aware of any problems like this with highflows? diverter was fine, stats all ok, boiler fully functional as far as i could see.

could be a shower issue with intermittent faults sometimes its easier when it dies all together

thanks gas man, i was thinking the same thing, problem was shower and boiler worked perfectly when i was there, even their non flushing toilet magically started to work when i walked in the bathroom, im glad really cos is was a consealed type which had been totally tiled in with no false tiles. i love people that think ahead. 🙄
