worchester junior combi boiler heating not working

My combi boiler central heating isn't heating up although the hot water is working fine.

- I've power flushed the system, now nice and clean except for at the boiler.
- bleed all the 7 radiators and at the pump.
- the thermostate clicks when I turn the temp up
- the water still works fine


- the pump doesn't seem to be working, it's not making any noise.

Could the pump be gone?, or if any one has any suggestions please let me know.

Hi guys,

I did have a plumber come and have a look. He suggested it needed a flush, as he thought It was blocked.

Now i think the pump could be blocked, as before last year the rads were only getting Luke warm. now its stopped working.

Rads are now stone cold

You need a gsr in to look at your boiler. We cannot and will not give advice on the repair of boilers for your own safety. This includes removing the case to look at the pump.

Yes it's the first one I've done myself. Only reason I attempted doing it myself was because I've help a plumber do them in the past. It's not some thing I would recommend a diyer try and do tho.

I hope I havn't, I went on a qualified plumbers recommendation and thought it would fix the prob, but it hasn't 🙁

Lol majority of plumbers about nowadays are fast trackers who have got 'qualified' and specialise in power-flushes or combi systems because thats all they can do.

People should go for well-known plumbers
