I worked away for 6 weeks a couple of years back. Worked in Norwich which is a nice enough part of the world but dreaded the drive back on a Friday afternoon. Never again :-(

i shudder at at driving to the other side of birmingham now 🙂 luckily I'm always local now. I drove 15 miles on Friday and did 9 jobs 🙂

worked all over the world with the RN, get a panic attack now if I have to drive 25 miles or more 🙂

I've already asked the question pointing out the advantages of having someone run pipework and clip ahead of me but we had tools disappear from a site last year after we used a firm of local tilers and he wont have anyone new on site as a result of that. Shame really as its a win win situation ........feckin tilers!
