The following was posted on Rated People. A prime example of someone penny pinching and it costing more to fix in the long run! Love to know how a jet is supposed to move a 4 inch core cutter stuck inside a 4 inch soil pipe!

"While core cutting the waist pipe in a bathroom to make a new connection the core cutter fell down the 4 inch waist pipe. I can meet you at the job and give you easy access with your jetting equipment. the bathroom is allocated on ground level. you will need approximately 15-20 meters length of hose".

Who knows what he was trying to do, but in attempting to save money by doing it himself, he's now got a large bill from a drain jetting company. No sympathy from me.

I've done it too 😀 Those stupid bloody chucks on cordless drills that loosen after a few revolutions, lost the bit and arbor when drilling a hole for a strap on boss! Phoned the boss to tell him and he just told me to keep flushing the toilet and hope it gets taken into the main sewer!!

Apprentice done that once drilling a boss out, luckily it rolled to the manhole! Exact same thing with the chuck coming loose, I always hold the end of the holesaw now.
