My sisters new build has Quinn rads approx 3 years old & all the paint enamel is cracking badly across the roll top rads!

meant the upmarket designer quinns, not the crap they make for myson

Would the swarf matter if it's fitted in a system which is gonna get fully flushed before commission and have a magnaclean fitted?

I hear swarf in the designer style rads when turning them over... I guess it's impossible to get out...

I'd rather it wasn't in there corroding in the bottom but with inhibitor I guess it's okay?

So if it doesn't rattle, there's no or virtually no swarf, correct? Just thinking logically.

problem with swarf is if it comes out and makes its way into things like plate heat exchangers and pumps, not good IMHO

Would a decent magnaclean or similar not stop that, they're relatively new to me but I presumed that was the whole point of them?

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4...
