converting open vent to sealed

one of my jobs tomorrow to remove existing f & e and change to sealed system. MI's state they like the vessel fitted on negative side of pump (flow), but i was wanting to fit to return (no valves or restrictions) just wondered why they would state on flow rather than return as i thought less heat on vessel surely longer life?

Have you checked the mi's to see whether it can be converted?

yeah just reading them. mid you just checked the baxi solo's Mi and they also state the same.

the picture in that download also shows the cold water connection
via a hose pipe and outside tap???
