hello, I recently moved into new flat fitted with danfoss tp9000 programmable thermostat for both central heating and domestic hot water. Issue is my heating and hot water both seem to be working all time even though I have programmed on off events in tp9000. The tp9000 indicator light comes on and off as per my timed events but regardless of that my boiler (unvented indirect water boiler) seems to be working all time being controlled by its own thermostat. My understanding is that the boiler thermostat should operate only during the hot water On event in tp9000. Any clues as to what might be broken? The tp9000 is wall mounted and main power supplied without any remote sensor.

Thx in advance for help.

Rented ?

I would say time to call a pro out

The chances are that the problem is not with the programmer or the
boiler.

What is the make and model of your boiler?

Do you know what type of heating system do you have?

Does your system have 2 port/ 3 port valves probably in or around
the airing cupboard?

Boiler: Range Tribune HE Indirect Unvented Hot water cylinder (manufactured by kingspan)
Central District Heating system (hydronic)
Separate zone valves for central heating (1-zone) and domestic hot water
2 port valve

Thx

The Range Tribune HE Indirect Unvented Hot water cylinder is not a boiler.

It would be best for you to get a heating technician in to check out your
system.

The problem likely to be to do with the zone valves but could be something else.

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks
