Hi guys,

Have a wee bathroom job on tomorrow...... the soil pipe is cemented into the wall and cannot be moved but sits a little higher than the back of the pan. The old toilet was connected with an off set connector - but am hoping I can put floor tiles down first and fix new pan to tiles - this will raise it a bit too high even for an offset connector - would a flexi connector be the answer? Or would I be better just fixing pan to floor and tiling around it?

Any help much appreciated,

cheers,

dave

i normally cut the cast back flush to wall and use a multiquick exstention and connector or flexi

fixed a toilet that had a flexi on a few months ago,
the guy had fitted 6 in the last 2 years and got fed up with them failing/splitting.
so did the job right with a swan neck mcalpine.

A quality flexable fiiting such as Macapline Should resolve your problem
