Hi all
Sometime soon I will be replacing syphon on my WC If you refer to my picture, does anyone think the flexi tail on the inlet was installed with too much of a bend ? I have heard it is not recommended and they have more chance of failing like that. And I am thinking I will stress it again when I re-attach it. Would welcome any other suggestions if you think it is not advisable.
Thanks

I would prefer hard pipe, but that's just me. Doesn't look good, but it doesn't look too stressed.

More of a concern is the flexi pan connector into the wall.

it should be fine but as above or if you can replace it

Thanks Simon for your input. Hadn't got onto the pan connector yet as so far it seems sound but I am expecting a bit of bother when it needs changed!

Try not to use the isolator, usually they leak. Turn off at the stopcock instead :)

I'd change the flexi anyway, as above the isolator will leak if ever you need to use it.

Sounds a good idea to replace flexi at same time. Some parts of that bathroom install look a bit of bodge but I will take the forum view that the inlet part is acceptable. Thanks for coming back.
