I’m currently considering how best to do the pipework from the shower trap (90mm, 1.5”) and I just wanted some input from you guys and which is the best option, as shown in the attached photos?
Never done this kind of thing before and I am a little bit concerned that my pipework may not be able to remove water fast enough from the 45 mm tray that I am planning on using.
In photo 1 the pipe exits the trap at about 5 o-clock, if you see what I mean. Photo 2 is about 4 o-clock. Photo 4 is fine, but relies on use of an obtuse conversion bend (pic 3) and i wonder if it is OK to use these in the manner i have? Are all options OK, perhaps? With zero experience, it’s impossible to know where the limits are.
TIA

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...
