Hi,

I have a dripping leak coming from one of the black taps under my boiler. It means I need to top up the pressure every 2-3 days.

The pipe the tap on is a hot pipe when the boiler is on. It is the most left pipe on the image!

Could anybody please help/tell me what's wrong and how to fix?

Thanks!

Is it leaking from a nut or the actual valve part ?

as above does leak from the chrome nut or from the middle of the black handled tap? If so you may need to get an engineer out to change that over.

It's coming from the black tap itself, looks like it's from the screw in the centre of he black tap, but can't tell for sure and it doesn't tighten... is it expensive to get that changed?

new valve sorry to say, best enlist the services of a gas safe engy

May not be coming from that, could have a leak inside boiler and its running down the pipe, get some one to check it out

I have done pressure test for 2" high pressure pipe line by closing the pipe with rubber plugs at the ends. It was 3 bar and I kept it for 24 hours. Its shows a pressure drop of 0.5 bar. The pipe line is fully exposed and I couldn't find any leak on them. What might be the problem. If somebody...

Hi, I seemed to have a blockage in kitchen sink. A plumber came and cleared all the pipework that is visible inside my home (there was debris and pebbles!) We saw that the pipe that takes water down the gutter was visibly full to the top. He said he will return with a coil to push through...

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...
