Is that a red water washer? Is the drawers under the hob or an oven? This is a 1st for me. Usually flexi's connecting a hob.

Is the space under the hob a cupboard? Or an oven?
Normally cut the upstand off and use a flat face washer
I know that is a bad install but isn’t a flexi gas pipe aloud if no oven? That’s what they use in disability housingDrawer unit
Ohhhh makes sense now. Sorry. It's track pipe so that is fine. It is the compression fitting onto a flat faces washer fitting.
You Can file the threads flat though
Can't say I have ever seen a barrier fitted, didn't know there was such a thingdont see many bent tap connectors, cost more than a st elbow and nut and olive.
did it have the barrier between the top draw and hob underside? the number of kitchen fitters that hate me when i insist on the barrier being fitted is getting quite high.
