Discuss Shower cartridge failing after 9 to 12 months in the UK Plumbing Forum | Plumbing Advice area at PlumbersForums.net
Hi Julie…it’s 10 years old but I don’t understand how a new unit would solve it. Apart from the cartridge the rest is just a housing with 2 pipes going into it ?How old is the shower? Maybe time for a replacement?
I know, I have been there myself and the only suggestions Mira could come up with were (1) limescale or (2) the valve body itself has a worn or damaged seating so after a while the cartridge doesn't seal anymore.Hi Julie…it’s 10 years old but I don’t understand how a new unit would solve it.
