terminal question

hi guys,

got a flavel firenza fire in a brick chimney with no flue liner failing on spillage and I've noticed that the terminal is the type you would use with a liner should this not be a pot?

It sounds like the flue needs lining to me.

Probably to much heat loss into brickwork.

If the terminal is the right size, it would be fine.

I think you might be right.... cant access the 4 story roof with my ladders either to inspect terminal for blockages

Did you smoke bomb it ?
That will tell you if it's clear

yes smoke bombed it and no problem there it just failed on the spillage

Not a guaranteed answer but once you've made sure there are no faults with the fire itself, i'd start with lining the chimney !
