Hi Im new to this!
I have been unemployed for 3 months now after being made redundant, the industry I work in is totally on its a**e, so have decided to retrain to do something I really enjoy doing, After much deliberation and going along to see a number of different training companies premises and course content, I have opted to go with ReactFast City & Guilds Course (start next Monday) has anyone got any experience of them? Also im not being blinded by unrealistc earning potential like the £50k+ being banded around but am hoping to bre able to earn £25 - £30k as a self employed plumber is this realistic?
Any Advice will be greatly welcomed!

£30K???? you probably could earn that after 10 years plus in the trade aslong as your good at it and you have amazing business skills, but you probably wont do anywhere near that for a fair few years.

but if your serious then good luck.

sorry but its tougher now than ever and starting out you will prob scrape 15k in first year if you have good contacts this trade is being sold as the golden goose and those figures of 30k are for very experienced guys with a good source of contacts not new starters which a 6129 is the basics u will need a good couple of years of experience as well to start earning

I do have a few contacts 2 of my close friends own their own Buliding firms, and its really because they said they are constantly struggling to get a decent reliable plumber, that they convinced me it would be a good idea to go down this trade route.

So Im hoping I may have a bit of a headstart? Also the company im training with offer the opportunity of buying a sub contractor licence with them at the end of the course, not sure wether this may be a good route to go down?

All I saw was the word reactfast above and I came straight to the bottom to type don't, Cancel the cheque now.

Ask Reactfast for honest feedback on their performance on the British Gas trial they took part in South East England recently. Push them for details.
