hi, whats the best way of runing the waste for a free standing bath. Can't imagine 1.5 black waste will look too great if on show.

does it have to be on show?
if so why not use chrome coloured waste pipe and fittings?

normally in the floor, right pain and the chrome traps that sometimes come with the bath never seal first time and have insufficient trap seal so have ended up putting a hepvo after them, looks lovely as you can imagine.

Luxury chrome bath P trap

just depends what you want to spend,
proper chrome is nice but costly, or try to get in plastic, best to take a trip to your local plumbing merchant and ask what they have or can get hold of.
