Replacement of a thermostat or heating element

View the thread, titled "Replacement of a thermostat or heating element" which is posted in Plumbing Advice for Any Other Country on UK Plumbers Forums.

Hi I'm in France been here 13 years retired.
My question is as my dual heated hot water tank no longer heat water via electric, can someone help me through the process of checking what's failed, I have tried everyone in my area and beyond but no-one has even responded, I use email communication as my French isn't up to talking on phone.
Anyway I've looked online to identify my tank given the information I have and can't find my model 11 years old, to do the work myself, I'm not only retired but have spinal injury too so this is challenging.

Can someone help with how to check if it's the thermostat or element gone and how to remove and replace please.
All the electrical and water for tank appear to be below on the very bottom.

Dual heated as in dual element and no picture?

Replace both but honestly try harder. There must be a social media presence for expats in your part of France that could advise.

Yeah I thought by the picture that was obvious but no my dual heated tank it heated by my Charnwood and electric element.
You're not listening I have tried locally for registered tradesmen social media only give people working on the black, not good as I've already been stung before from that situation.
So, no clue from what information I've given so far?

You're contacting a UK forum about a French made cylinder, nothing is obvious.

Try Atlantic, they're a large multinational and probably have a network of approved installers/repairers.

Yeah my mistake, I'll try harder. Good advertising site this, can't even read replies very well not that there's any investigative help going on for me here, possibly because I haven't posted enough information. Sorry to have bothered tbh.. luckily for me I blocked this site's constant update notifications age's ago because replies from posts where always toxic in nature if at all.
Moving on.

So to summarise, you wanted help to repair a (foreign to this forum) water cylinder that you found no information on because it's probably been discontinued and you couldn't provide pictures or info of the actual element/stat that's faulty because access is poor and you're disabled and you've got the hump because I haven't been forthcoming in helping you?

Look harder as I did, visit the Atlantic (your cylinder manufacturer) website using a browser that translates to English. They have a network of approved installers and repair technicians that seem to operate throughout France. You're welcome.
