Hi all ,

I am redoing my shower cubicle/unit after no end of problems with my current wetroom style shower ( Big mistake!!)

The builder I am using has quoted me for some fittings but I am bit unsure as I really want to make sure they are good quality and reliable

- a Cubico Shower door/frame

- a London Showers slim tray

Are these good make. Would you fit them? Or what other makes should I look at?

Also , for the shower he has quoted for a Just Taps florence Bar valve

I'd be much more reassured with a Grohe/Hansgrohe unit. The most important factor for me in a shower is strong water pressure/reliability and longevity, rather than price

Can I ask whether you would advise to get what he has suggested or should I source other items

Thanks
Michael

Never heard of them

As for the bar mixer looks like a stnd cheap bar mixer that’s around £200

Bristan zing £80 lol

Best thing I could advise is there a local city plumbing showroom there iflo brand is pretty good for the cost stick with 6mm minimum glass thickness

If your going concealed showers / toilets etc go with Hans grohe or grohe min 15 year parts availability

Thank you Shauncorbs. The shower will be exposed because our current concealed shower is rubbish and we can't get into it to fix it. But I'll still; prefer Hansgrohe or Grohe for the reason you say.
