Hello my name is Nat and I am an addict.

Before getting a smartphone a couple of months ago I used to berate my Mrs for spending so much time looking at mumsnet. Now since getting my new phone it is me who is addicted to a forum, this forum,or 'Plumbsnet', as she hilariously calls it.

I want to be able to watch The Apprentice again without asking 'who got fired?' every time at the end.

Help me get my evenings back by not having such interesting and informative conversations about plumbing.

The first step in the 12-step recovery programme is admitting you have a problem.

Done.

I'm my experience us plumbers could talk about plumbing all day long - it's actually doing the work that's the problem.

Well nat I was going to show some sympathy abouit your plite however if the cure only leads you watching the apprentice again then imho you are best left addicted like the rest of us !!!

and as for whos been fired, from what I have seen ,they all should be and maybe the saved tv time can be used to show plumbing tips off you tube ! 😎😎🙂

Hello Addicts.
i'm not a plumber and this is my first posting here.
But I have frequently come across this site when researching stuff, mainly for the plumbing & heating blogs & articles I write.
Hubby is a plumber and when he comes home and does what ever, sits down with his feet up I say to him, "Can I talk to you about heating systems...or similar"

Anyway, thought I should sign up here.

I may have said this one before but if i have i'm goinmg to repeat myself.

Years back i had a Mira 723 in thwe en suite that was needing an O ring and it would drip all the time. One night the wife woke me up to tell me she couldn't get to sleep for the dripping noise and told me to fix it. I got up and lifted the head down and sat it in the tray.
"All that time and you fixed it in half a minute" until the next morning when she clocked it and went mental! I told her i was too busy and if it was so important she should phone a plumber....She did!
£100 odd pounds for a 10 minute job. She was robbed lol.

Don't be too hard on yer man. He might have had a hard day. Fetch a cusion for his feet, give him the remote and get a carry out in 🙂
Hang around here and you will learn a lot of plumber talk😉

Welcome Mrs Tara plumbi.

Where are your blogs posted? Wouldn't mind having a butchers.

Just google Mrs Tara Plumbing
you will see i write about plumbing heating, politics and family life by the seaside.
I particularly like funny plumbing related and toilet humour, who doesn't... ?

Blogs do work well as free advertising if you have the time and inclination.
