same every where, speed cameras are my bug bare there trained by the sas so you carnt see em till its to late, 5-6 mile an hour over ,its there xmas
As for single police there classed as proffesional witnesses so if they say you were eatin a bag o chips doing 35+mph in a 30 youve had it ,
i dont no if you remember but a long time ago a woman was done for eating a kit kat she got done driving without due care etc

did you get caught today by any chance?

and just to clear up my opinion, if you are sticking to the SAFE speed limit which is there to protect you and other road users than you have nothing to worry about or whinge about.

Its not the 5mph but the maths ,
10% 30 +3 dicey
40 +4
70 +7
Slower speeds more fiddly to do !

They usually want you slow for a reason !

( Driving and eating , make sure youv'e got a buddy with you to un-wrap your food ! )
( eyes on road -when takling to buddy , not like on TV )

I once got pulled while on the phone with a coffee in my hand a sandwich between my teeth and writing a message out.

I got fined £40 for parking in a bus stop. I was raging because the bus wasn't due for 20 minutes

should not be eating when shes driving then,no sympathy sorry

Everyone eats on the go though. Especially in our work. Ive got full sympathy for her. It's not exactly the worst driving offence going and to get three points for it is disgusting in my book.

I got pulled a couple years ago when I was 19 on Xmas eve for throwing a *** end out the window at a set of traffic lights. Once pulled I got the biggest bollcking of my life of the old bill and promised never to do it again

Obviously now I have an ashtray in the van that I keep all my *** ends in

Thats terrible. But that driver must have been completely preoccupied. I'm not saying that I eat a full three course meal behind the wheel, but I'd be lying if I said I hadn't eaten the occasional sandwich while driving.

I was in a car that got pulled out of my Grandmas funeral procession. I couldn't believe that they'd do that. They took the driver (my sister) into their car to question her without saying why so I got out and went to ask what this was about. One of the 'officers' got out and shoved my arm up my back and forced me back to our car still without telling me what it was about and said if I got out of the car again I would be arrested.
15 minutes later my sister got back to our car and told me they thought she was using a mobile phone while driving. Neither of us had mobile phones with us. We ended up delaying the funeral because I was a coffin bearer and they had to wait for me. I don't think I've ever been as angry in my life.
My view of the fuzz has changed since that day, there are some decent ones, but the majority are on power trips and are downright ****holes. Laws are generally a good thing, the people who enforce them generally aren't...

A guy was prosecuted a couple of years ago for drinking a can of coke while driving. The thing was, he was stationery and in a traffic jam. The jobs worth cop claimed that he wasn't in control of the vehicle if he was drinking a coke.

Sometimes the police seem to have a target of arrests they've got to make. Just plain stupid.

I'd imagine they had sme sort of quota to make up. It's terrible really and a waste of time but it's the world we live in now.

In the eyes of the police all drivers are criminals they dont know how to investigate crimes they sit on their arse and hope that the person they are looking for falls into their laps.

As you can tell I have no time for police

Now that's about the most unfortunate time to get the arm of the law on you and never one to be understanding I;d guess? 🙁
