Hi just fitted baxi platinum 40 , when i fired it up boiler ran on heating no problem then tried hot water it also worked but when i went back to the boiler it was flashing between hot water and central heating on the display i checked the hall effect sensor it seems fine. The boiler is not showing any fault codes just wondering if any one has any ideas on this would be very grateful thanks . Paul

have you put it in calibration mode by mistake and is it a duotec 1?

No i dont think so if i put valve off on the cold inlet it stops the hot water light flashing and the boiler will operate normally on heating then if i put cold valve back on it is fine until i fire boiler for hot water again ....thank for the input

you have a burst hot water pipe,faulty mixer tap or mixer shower

is the hall effect sensor illuminated after this happens?

I was thinking bust hot water pipe also so i put cold inlet valve off for about ten minutes and when i switched it back on there was no sound off passing water so i was assuming the hot pipe was still full of water . So i will check shower valve and taps and see how i get on thanks again for the input gas man
