HTS2 cylinder thermostat black wire is out

I have HTS2 Cylinder Thermostat and Drayron Mid-Position valve and the black wire is out of the junction and is live! But I don't know where it goes on the junction .Can anyone help urgently please!

You need a copy of a wiring diagram and to be proficient in the use of a multimeter to be able to work out where the wire goes. If you don't have these abilities call someone in and in the meantime shut off the power to your heating if you've got live wires floating around.

The wire is off the cylinder stat and just want to know to which color wire of motorised valve is being connected to that is all.

There's more than one Drayton mid position valve. Model required.

I'm considering doing a diy dentistry course for the same reason.

He doesn't get to do much controls wiring, last post was a year ago & was how to wire boiler to programer.
Can I suggest the Honeywell wiring one day course for heating engineers, very good if you can get on it!!
