out of interest Ray, who are these other stockists that they are worried about, I only get intergas off a couple of independants
Welcome to the forum. Although you can post in any forum, the USA forum is here in case of local regs or laws
There's a crowd down ìin Ilfracombe sells to a fat plumber.
I'd talk to them........
who rattled stumpies little cage tonight. Feel for me John, the daughters golden retriever (dog lives with me, wife and daughter who has failed to leave home yet) has been at the vets since saturday, the bill has gone past £2500 already, insurance runs out at £4k!!!!!! daftanimal ate a peach, perforated stomach from the stone stuck inside, lead to peritonitis and pancreatitis, poor animal. moral, when your mutt looks as if its praying to Allah, get it to the vets pronto
I saw the first few words, was going to give a flippant reply but saw the rest....
Ouch! Poor pooch.
I was thinking it would be more of a rite of passage for the dear girl....

They have one of the smaller nationals, and one of the independent buying groups.
The latter detest us even more than the former do, to the point of trying to get gas safe to refuse our advertising.
I could get uptight about it, or alternatively I can offer their customers a better service at a lower price.
Easy choice. 🙂
poor me when the cover runs out, we all love the mutt and the black lab is missing his mate!
the Ideal Vogue.
But following Nostrum's advice, I reduced it to a 32kw. I really don't think we need a 40kw, and I am not convinced that the relatively long gas run would be up to it.
Being fitted tomorrow, along with a 22mm Magnaclean Pro2 and a Salus iT500.
Fingers crossed for the dog
Will we be pushing for a little off the bill ray
Will there be pics?
Hi Adam
Sorry that was creepier than I anticipated you just never normally miss the op to abuse our sponsor
I think that part of the problem is that they underpriced the job.
Its not straight forward, being 3 stories up, and with limited access to get ladders in (they have to come through the house).
But, thats not my problem.
Haha yes a tad creepy. And I have nothing but respect for all of our sponsors....:troll:

now you have had the salus it500, how our you finding it for reliability and ease of use Ray, a customer of mine is interested in one.
I have just set up the it500, something the installer didn't do. He just wired the base station in, and left the rest of the stuff, saying to Mrs S "I haven't been trained to do these, but you should be ok, because all the instructions are there"
Bet you and Mrs S were not inpressed with that sort of attitude.
Ray Stafford; They even told Mrs S at one point that they wouldn't be able to get the old boiler down the stairs. It was only when she wondered aloud how on earth I had managed to get it up there that they decided they might find a way. [/QUOTE said:Good on her Ray, a lot of wives leave problems for hubby to sort out when they get home.
