Started plumbing apprenticeship - should I be paying income tax?

Hello!

I've recently started an apprenticeship with a local plumbing company and had a super quick question. do I have to pay any income tax on the money I make? I'll know exactly what I'll be paid at the end of this month but I don't think it'll be a huge amount because I make about £140 a week. I've had a look at this income tax website I've found but not too confident it's correct - can someone lend some advice?

You won’t hit the tax threshold on £140 a week so shouldn’t have to pay income tax

But beware of National Insurance - this applies at different levels to income tax ............... and is charged per week ................ about time it was added to the basic rate of tax and made far simpler IMHO

My maths makes that less, about £5000 roughly ............

I mean if he has a job already and is doing the plumbing 1 day a week. Not the 1 day = £15000.00
