    Kitchen plumbing help

From what I’ve interpreted it’s a new tap install and they’re trying to get from the 3/4 on the tee to the female 1/2 on the flexi

    Kitchen plumbing help

You’re welcome... it’s what we’re here for Probably needed some ptfe tap on the fitting screwfix gave you to seal the thread although you’d still be stuck with a 1/2 bsp connection and 15mm compression though? That’s exactly what he should have done:)

    Kitchen plumbing help

The drawing makes a lot more sense! Although majorly over complicated for what it really needs to be... The link to the fitting would work without the nut and olive on the 15mm end. However it isn’t the correct way that fitting should be used. End of. You could however used that fitting and a...

    Kitchen plumbing help

I would personally change the set up, from what I can make out (the picture from above didn’t help much) try taking it in front of the pipe work? However the thread is 3/4 hence why the assumed 1/2 flexi won’t fit. A 3/4 female to 1/2 male reducer like this DZR Brass Pipe Adaptor 3/4" to 1/2"...

    Kitchen plumbing help

I think a pic would help..? You’ll probably need a washing machine tee https://www.NoLinkingToThis/p/washing-machine-valve-tee-15mm-x-15mm-x-/60723?tc=ST5&ds_kid=92700020953274180&gclsrc=aw.ds&ds_rl=1241687&ds_rl=1245250&ds_rl=1249404&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjviWhOrS4wIVzLTtCh2QagpdEAQYASABEgLMGPD_BwE...

    Milwaukee SDS Cordless

Bosch battery sds for me. Used daily for Atleast 2 and a bit years and hasn’t missed a beat yet. For 4 inch cores and the like I used a cheap Titan corded drill from screwfix Like 60ish quid and no issue returns for when it gives up the ghost. Admittedly fairly bulky though.

    Remeha Quinta pro hex...

The light is a little bonus I suppose! I usually try pry them off their little holders with a pair of 36 stilsons and the boiler being situated at a reasonable height is also a god send. Luckily usually once they’re out they’re a doddle

    Remeha Quinta pro hex...

I agree, I like them When they’re cracked/holed on the sump  Youve guessed it. Classic fault hence the changing of the bloody heavy/bulky hex

    Remeha Quinta pro hex...

Morning all, I’ve got a couple Quinta pro heat exchangers to change in the coming days.. Completed a few successfully before however I always, always, always find them an absolute pig to remove without beating the case up and muttering a few hundred curse words They’re lumpy bits of kit and I...

Pipe Threading or Press Fit for Air?

Press fit will be by far quicker. Thus cheaper... That said I still love the odd job using hand dies/ threading machine!

Stelrad Compact Radiators vs Stelrad Softlines

Or missing the blank/or air vent. No biggy just a major inconvenience!!

    Press fit machine purchase

Personally just hire from Bss as previously mentioned.. also I believe they require re-calibrating every so many thousand crimps. Whether that can be done ‘in house’ I’m not sure of
