Cutting copper piping square

View the thread, titled "Cutting copper piping square" which is posted in UK Plumbers Forums on UK Plumbers Forums.

Hello,
One of my nightmares scenarios is cutting am copper pipes in tight spaces where you can’t get a pipe cutter in there.
I eventually got a pipe cutter to cut the pipe but only after becoming a contortionist.
My initial go using a multi tool failed miserably as the cut wasn’t square.
Can anyone suggest how best to cut pipes when space is at a premium.
Cheers

Multi tool and practice don’t push my advice is eg if you push the blade tends to rise eg ends up higher at the back

Thanks
That’s sound advise.
Can you recommend a good blade.
As a side note. I tried using an end feed as a guide but it didn’t make much difference. I must admit, I did push and perhaps the multi material blade wasn’t the perfect selection.
