10mm will do 2kw fine, the pipe length/ resistance is more important along with the system being balanced well.

    Adey Magnacleanse....

Got my long hose from kamco, not sure of the temp rating tbh but I wouldn't let the water get much above 50 even if my hoses could take it. I use acid mainly now, loads better than x800 and temps less important. Calmag acid is only £5-6 a tub, similar to fx2

British Gas will not be able to obtain parts for this boiler.

Manufacturers have to keep parts on sale for 10 years, they will stop them when Demand drops and they no longer make them money. Flue system parts normally the first to stop. It has been said that BG use this 10year date to push boiler changes, best to seek a second opinion if this is said.

    Pan-connector fitting to soilpipe query.

Just looked at them and they look good. The mc alpine ones I've used in the past have been white rubbers on pan end and never liked the fit. I guess it's what we get used to using.

Ideal logic 24 + heats radiators once then stops shows no fault !

Does the radiator in the room the stats in get hot first when heatings on? It may need to be balanced down to keep that space cooler. Sounds like the other rooms cool down fast but the room with the stat stays warm for a lot longer

New member, can someone help check quality of this boiler install?

Tank stand requirements depend on whats supporting it. If there's load bearing walls below then the standard 4x2s and marine ply 150mm larger than tanks etc... If it's a modem loft with no load bearing walls in the middle of the house then it will need large timbers spanning the loft. There...
