No, only the flow meters for loops calling for heat should move, check the actuators are screwed down properly. Does sound like this wouldnt have been filled properly aswell thiugh if your having to do this.
If its A1 designated it can be fitted bellow the flood level aswell, if you are going to run it up past the guttering you may aswell vent the stack instead, if its within 3m of an opening vent 900mm above it.
The marflow shower plates just realy on compression joints, the metal fixing plate only holds the pipes in situ.
Alot of the time the compression joints are over tightened and the olive crushes the tube making it impossible for it to be pulled off.
Can you not carefully stitch drill...

Call for heat then test the brown on the 2port, if theres 240 there but the sychron motor doesnt turn its that, if theres no 240 there then work back through the cylinder stat, then the HW On out the programmer.
Thanks Stanios, I see where your coming from completely. I wouldn't expect to become GSR and suddenly be able to diagnose every boiler that breakdowns. My background has always been installs, not done much breakdown work with GSR's.
The main reason I want to become GSR would be for installs...
Is it a combi? Or do you have a vented cylinder aswell, could be a split coil if you do.
It wont narrow it down to be the flow just because you open the flow iso underneath and that drops, its still connected to the return so its still testing that at the same time.
I forgot to say I've already had loads of experience in Gas and worked with a couple of very good gas engys for a number of years prior to me being self employed.
Hi, Hoping someone can give me a bit of advice.
Im 27 this year and have been working full time as a plumber since the age of 16.
I never got round to doing my gas safe when I was younger as I was too interested in going fishing rather than doing anything work related.
Now im older and...
Pointless running the DHW on a 25kw combi in anything bigger than 15mm, you will still get only get 10LPM whether its run in 15mm or 54mm, would just give you a bigger dead leg volume of cold to pull through before the hot arrives at the outlet.
Theres plenty of other plastic systems out there that arnt pushfit (axial and radial pressfit systems) and are more professional than using Hep/speedfit/polyplumb etc.
