A shower valve has been installed there was an issue with screwing the quick fixing kit back to the tile i was wondering if the olives on the pipes once tightened will stop the plate pulling off? The pipes are solid with no movement behind the tiles so they are very solid with no movement

advice please!

Ok thanks! The reason was because whoever first fixed the pipes and put the tiles on didnt realise the hight difference andit wasnt 150 centre so the only way to get the valve on without taking the tiles off( which my friend didnt want) was to not screw the plates back in order to get the valve on it is off centre slightly but he knows this i was just worried about the whole clamp and thread coming off the wall. Its on and tested ok and feels pretty solid. Would it tale a fair tug on it for it to come off or?

The marflow shower plates just realy on compression joints, the metal fixing plate only holds the pipes in situ.

Alot of the time the compression joints are over tightened and the olive crushes the tube making it impossible for it to be pulled off.

Can you not carefully stitch drill around the pipe and see if there any play in the pipework to get them at 150 centres though
