    I would think what makes it worse is a human can detect 1 or 2 degrees or more temp drop so tend to feel that they are cold.

    From what i remember reading the instructions it presumes there is an isolator fitted by boiler so you turn that off and then the one by filter.

    If the boiler engineer disconnected the outlet pipe on boiler to prove thats ok first thing to do, Could be a inline filter somewhere thats part blocked they do put then in boilers as well or a stopcock or isolator not turned on fully.
