    Can anyone recommend a good quality filling loop brand? They all seem to be cheap and flimsy with plastic handles. Altechnic is ok I find, the water side is good with a nice metal handle, the heating side is poor.

    Yes, FJC is pretty expensive though for some putty! Standard talons are UV stable, not sure about the new coloured ones though

    Junior plate and aav 🤢 Hob pipe up, can’t polish a turd. Leaking filter moved so lid can be removed. 830 pure work in progress.

    Vaillant 832, system conversion to combi and boiler moved to the loft. I used Tesla flex to get the gas supply to the boiler.
