ive fitted quite a few boilers now but would like to get a bit of experience with fault finding, ive a customer with a boiler that when you get it to 1bar, it heats up and works, but then goes up to over 3bar, blows off, and when cools drops to about half a bar, is this going to be the expansion...
i just bought a worcester camray 18-25w utility boiler would the expansion vessel fitted in the boiler always be the right size for that boiler

the vessel needed changed,so rather than boiler of the wall i put a remote one 8ltr on the return as close to boiler as possible,but the boiler still increase pressure and setting prv off, i felt remote vessel and it was just warm it felt as no water was in it, if that makes sense,whats going on

I have got to replace a expansion vessel on a Sime boiler. It's an internal one situated at the back of the boiler itself. The original one has a pinhole leak in it, therefore needs replacing.
