Hi (first post on these forums)
Looking to replace an existing radiator for a chrome heated towel rail.
However, I live in a new build house where they have used white plastic pipe (think its called barrier pipe???) and I would still like to be able to take the towel rail off the wall to...
I have just pressure tested a system of pex pipe and push fit fittings to 6 bar air test. I soon found air escaping slowly from some of the fittings. I changed over to a water test and it shows no leaks, how is this.
Wheres good for hob fittings.
Had a few where theres just a male and no iron elbow included.
Sent off for a few from Hamiltons in ireland as the local suppliers are a shower of $€£¥.
After a 1/2 flat face female onto a 10mm or 15mm compression similar to this.
seeing lots use them on the fb groups, cant any of them solder?whats the big attraction? i guarantee a correctly done soldered fitting will last longer than something with a o ring in and fittings for this crimp stuff are double the cost,i dont get it?
