I have got a gas fire to replace, a focal point supa 400, but I dont have much experience in installing fires. Can someone point me in the right direction of a decent brand or model of fire which they have found to be good and reliable and preferably not too expensive.
Fitted new boiler in a property recently and when visually inspecting other appliances discovered gas fire has no ignitor, literally just an on-off know, like a cooker and customer throwing a match on to light fire. Is this legal/allowed as first fire i'd come across like this! thanks
