Customer has a Main Multipoint BF that needs the diaphragm replacing. I'm attempting to remove the water valve but one of the screws that fix it to the bottom of the gas valve just won't budge. The head of the screw is completely stripped. My trusty neji-saurus screw pliers turned it about 45...
Hey guys
My wife noticed water on the floor in our basement. What I can see is that the elbow is cracked where a 1.5" down pipe enters a 4" pipe that goes beneath the basement concrete floor.
My thought is that I have to break up some concrete to replace the 4" pipe/clean out and reattached...

I have an old 1950s house, and the stopcock on the rising main is quite stiff and difficult to access. I'd like to add a new stopcock in a more accessible position, but leave the old stopcock in place so that that I don't have to turn off the water at the property boundary. Is there any...
Hi all
Would be grateful for any help you can give:
Model: Redring Selectronic Premier - 2016 model
Problem: Water spewing from the bottom of the main unit instead of coming out through the hose.
I initially thought this was due to the PRV having activated but upon further investigation I...

Hi,
I'm having some issues with my current water main leaking. We had an extension put onto our house back in 2013, during which we moved our kitchen into the extension on the opposite side of the house.
The stop tap was positioned in what would become the middle of our lounge, so the plumber...
Hi all, looking for a bit of advice. I have a lovely Grohe kitchen mixer. Sadly, after many years of use, the main O ring seal on the swivel has perished and leaking badly. I've descaled her as much as possible but I am unable to release I guess, the threaded, upper part to expose the O ring. Do...
We are considering having our house rads and hot water system replumbed so it's not buried in the 1970's screed that it is at the moment. The cement progressively eats away at the copper if it is not wrapped in Denzo tape (no way to tell without digging up the screed).
We are thinking of...

About a month ago a vibrating sound started on our cold mains (copper pipes).
This noise will often go on for 12-24 hours, always a loud rumbling sound that you can feel in the pipes.
I am in a maisonette, and believe the cold...
About 2 months ago I had a plumber out to remedy a rocking toilet. He pulled the toilet, noted the flange was 1 -2 inches low. He replaced the toilet and left saying he had to get approval for the repair. That night my shower wouldn't drain an the toilet was bubbling air while the shower was...
Ive heard its possible to get the pipework up the back of this appliance by removing a baffle fitted to the boiler. Is this correct?

Hi,

Hi All,
I have a Main Eco 30 Combi boiler I was fitted about 7 years ago, the whole pipe work is new and radiators.
