Hello,
Would anyone be able to provide a dummy guide explanation to radiator balancing, not the process itself but in regards to:
A. What should the boiler flow temperature be set to (weather compensator not present)? Some guides state around 75 degrees although what if the system will be...
Hi
Just fitted a new towel radiator in my en-suit.
Unfortunately it's leaking from the tail piece you screw into the bottom of the rad. I wound round about 4 layers of PTFE tape too. I have since taken it off and wound round 8-9 layers and it screwed up nice and snug but still leaks from both...

Hi,
We moved into a house a couple of years ago and inherited some "interesting" plumbing throughout.
Today's problem is that the bathroom towel radiator that wasn't heating up, so I looked at it and guessed that pushing in the "button" on what appeared to be a bleed valve would bleed it. Sure...
Hi, I have bought corner valves to use on a new towel radiator. As you can see in the attached pic, one part of the valve has a small circular hole in it, and the other part has a large semicircular hole. Which end - 1 or 2 - should I connect to the water pipe and which end should I connect to...

The recommended radiator size for my bathroom is 2500BTU. The rad. I have chosen is available in 2258 BTU and 2741 BTU.
The smaller one will fit better but I would not want to compromise the heat output by choosing it just because it looks better in place.
Bathroom size is 7' x10' x8' high with...
