Might be a very silly question, but have an old cistern toilet. Connects to the pipes as follows(see pic) - want to know if I can do a like for like replacement with any toilet type, or I'm limited for options.
Reason for changing is that toilet is getting blocked every 2-3 months - no issues...
I have a badly rusted manhole/inspection chamber cover which seems to be a non-standard size measuring 650mm x 450mm. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement cover with these dimensions?
Before you ask the manhole slides under the wall with a lintel above it (god knows why they did it...
I need to replace our Honeywell CM721, I believe the modern replacements would be either Honeywell T3R or T4R, is this correct and would the receiver also need replacing or would the T's mate up to my original Honeywell receiver?
Hi,
A bit of background first I have a air source heat pump, downstairs is all underfloor heating and controlled by individual room thermostats. I am happy with this setup and can control this centrally (a heatmiser solution which I may add smarts to later). For hot water I have a simple...
Hi, I wonder if someone can help - does anyone know the size of this nut/joint and if it will be compatible with the following kitchen tap once I've removed the old one?

Hello all,
My Redring California electric shower (Model no. 53-553540) is no longer working and I am trying to find a replacement that will mean my plumber has minimal work to do in terms of pipework etc. Does anyone have any suggestions please? The plumber has quoted me £80 labour to replace...

Hi all,
We have some terrible water hammer in our house. I've had a plumber come round to try and fix it, to no avail, but I'm not convinced he chose the right course of action. He started by checking the water pressure, securing a few pipes in the roof space which was fair enough, but...
I have a Baxi 100 HE boiler and it's been good over the 20+ year lifetime.
I'd like to replace it with something similar. I'm thinking that a boiler form the same manufacture might have connections in the same place (easier for the engineer to fit a replacement).
Question: Are some ranges of...

Hello All,

Hi, the waste pipe under the sink is leaking at the push fit connection. Is there an easy way to seal, or should I replace with a compression fitting? Leak in yellow circle in grey pipe. Thanks
Boiler is a Worcester Boch Highflow 440 with a TR2 room thermostat. This is an old style bimetal stat and I want to replace it with a digital one, e.g. Honeywell DT90E1012 two wire.
Is this going to be possible? I'm assuming that the current three wires are Live, Live Signal and Neutral and...
Hi. My Parker 15-60 130 pump has been running fine for 7 years at its highest speed. It has recently developed a knocking sound when hot and working hard (disappears on speed 2) but this is not fast enough for my 15 radiator bungalow. Bleeding the pump had no effect so I suspect it might be on...
