Just got myself a new 15/22mm pipe bender and am looking for a container. I have seen a couple of bespoke bags, but would rather a solid case of some form, if available.
Any ideas or pointers as to a suitable solid container?
I've a few bags all set up for different job types and all but my hot works tote all well past their use by date.
I tend to stick to Stanley because my merchant always has a good range but I'm never entirely happy with the way they keep heavy items like grips etc in place.
Now a friend...
Hi Troops, I hope everyone is enjoying a well deserved Sunday off.
I've just purchased a VW Crafter MWB, my last van was Vauxhall Vivaro. I racked it out with Plywood shelfing purchased from Vanify. It was okay but I really like the look of Botts Smartvan. Never seen anyone have it other than...
Hi.
I've recently purchased a press tool which is branded geberit but it's actually a novopress aco 103.
I was wondering if anyone knew if there was an adaptor that would fit so I can get the machine in tight spaces. I know Rems do a 45° attachment but not sure if this would fit in my...
hello all
I am looking at getting my kit started as my boss has given me loax Ash and I have some. Does anyone have any tips on wefd to head to looking at all hand tools and power tools so was hoping to get a good deal thanks
Showing my ignorance here, but what is (apart from the obvious) an olive rolling tool? I have just been speaking to a mate that swears he used to have on. Its a device that uses a ball bearing??? to roll a lip into a pipe to be used as an olive. Do you guys use one? Can you still get them? Pros...
The new cylinder I'm installing has 1 inch BSP male connections to the indirect coil. The 1 inch BSP female to 22mm compression adapter I'm fitting has a 1.5 inch across the flats hexagon. As the tank is foam insulated I can't use my big shifting spanner, I need a box spanner or socket spanner...
Relatively new to this forum and currently serving my time. Just wondering others opinions
What you guys think is the best tool bag on the market for gas engineers. So not like one where everything is slung in and impossible to find. One that’s neat and can fit your analyser, printer, u gauge...
well thought I'd try one - thinking would enable me to remove nozz without touching the electrodes - its a Regin and pretty rubbish as the inner spanner fits the nozz snugly enough but the outer is too big for the nozz holder.....ah well ..what a waste

so I am in need of a new tool bag or 2 as all the zips on my are knackered and it is weighing over 20kgs which is starting to hurt my shoulder lugging it around.
I know people like the veto's but the bags themselves weigh 4.5kgs. Ideally I need a lightweight but strong bag or bags?
I have...
Everyone needs one of these, not just for your tools, it is 24hr tracking regardless of what property you are trying to keep hold of, just connect it to a cheap tool such as a torch and leave it in PLAIN Sight, it WILL be stolen with your precious personal items, and you WILL find them. Prices...
Hello,
My boiler is a combo and all piping is plastic push fit. All of my downstairs radiators have a drain off cock. The issue I’m having is that I can’t find the correct tool to be able to open/drain the valve. I’ve been around plumb centres and they all say that they’ve not seen this type...
Never really bothered too much with my manual swager but quite like this quick and tidy result, available in new year apparently.
Nicked off Pb Plumber's instagram account, hate that guy....guns too big and van far too tidy, clearly plenty of time on his hands :)
Hi guys. I’m currently doing some site work and as I don’t leave my tools on site I’m looking for a good tool case/box on wheels if possible. Have any of you lot got anything you’d recommend? Cheers
I’m after a crimping tool and looking for recommendations on what everyone uses and also how much you paid for it etc. I know they are expensive, but don’t want to get ripped off.
Also do the tools work for all fittings or do you need specific fittings to match the individual jaws?
