Hi
Currently we've got a vented system in our 2 bed 1 bathroom 1st floor flat, which doesn't produce much flow for our mixer tap shower. I've decided to seek out getting a unvented direct cylinder fitted (electric only property). I've got three quotes and am in a quandary which one to go...
So I'm new to Internet forums and new to commissioning a new CH system... any help would be greatly appreciated, as I'm pretty confused by all the differing things I've read and been told regarding my current heating dilemma.
Background - I've just purchased a large 1900s 4 bed semi with 1...
Hello,
A couple of weeks ago I called out a plumber to change a thermostat since the bottom one (Economy 7) wasn't working. Unfortunately the change hasn't worked and since then (due to cost of calling in the plumber again to sort), I have been using the "Peak" switch for an hour a day to get...

Watch out for this one, haven't resolved yet. Put in unvented cylinder for customer who wanted long 25 year guarantee. Cylinder installed as vented as they were willing to pay the extra. 2 years on cylinder develops a leak and customer told by manufactures there is no guarantee as cylinder is...
what exactly is done in an annual service for an invented cylinder? Other than checking no leaks, immersion elements are ok etc
I have my G3 ticket. But don't be fooled, they don't teach you much on the course!!!
Does anyone get involved in maintenance of UV cylinders?
Been sent this picture asking if I can have a look as it's leaking
Would you bother repairing a it looks to have multiple leaks and generally be in a bad state
