After a shyte day, went to the station for a coffee and natter at 3pm, never got one as pagers went off, followed by call from coastguard stating four in the water and boat capsized a few minutes away. So the full time mechanic jumped into the inflatable thing and I got to go start the nice £2.2 Million state of the art Shannon all weather boat. about 11 minutes later on scene with a local fisherman who just happened to have 2 lifeboatmen crew onboard who had managed to fish 4 folks out of the rather murky cold water. For some reason they had taken their latest acquisition out in fairly interesting conditions to test the engine of their speed boat, however it failed, they broached, it went over and they ended up in the drink, no lifejackets, flares radio or anything. So into our survivours cabin they went for the trip home, which after shock n cold set in, made them all v seasick, I had never seen so much goo come out of so many places!! Anyhow, thanks to all your donations and RNLI training 4 darwinian types are now able to roam the earth again, cheers folks, made my shyte day a lot better.
