Have a space approx 900 mm wide, and looking to fit a 650 vanity initially wanted a 750mm as they had the drawer options, as well as the cupboard.. have read one review that says that they can not be modified to run water pipes along the back horizontally...

anyone know why is this ?

My waste comes from the floor, but the hot / cold comes from the right side approx half way up the height of the vanity...

heres the review...

what is the problem with drilling two 15mm holes along the back...?

dont get it.... so you saying it will have to be spaced away from the wall... to allow the pipes to be run...?

why cant the side be drilled to allow the pipes to run horizontally ?

That what I mean, some units like kitchen units have a space for the pipes but this does not, so you have no option but to drill and run pipes inside

phew.... so i can drill the side then thanks.....

gonna get a look at one in tile and bath store and see if it suits my purpose....

seems to be a bit of confusiion my end to heigt of vanity unit with sink.... most are quoting 768- 781mm for overall height. this seems very low.. is the height of the sink taken into this as some are quoting 200mm height for sink so surely that would be almost a metre high....?

sort of contradicts itself really...

does anyone know if the total height of vanities is approx 1m... not 800mm including the basin. ??

think the dimensions of the basin include the bit at the front where the bowl comes down looking at the pictures

It's like the same as idea kitchens, no void for pipe runs at the back! Annoying

I think a vanity unit with no void for pipework is actually just a cupboardin the same way a sink unit base with out pipe space is also just a base
